CLUB CONTINUING SERVICE PROJECTS

 

Garden Tour-Garden Faire

We proudly present juried gardens for the public viewing and education and provide attendees with a Garden Faire including over 50 vendors in downtown for their enjoyment.  Profits realized from Garden Tour ticket sales and the Garden Faire vendor fees are used to fund all Club projects and donations.

Yamhill County Historical Society

Landscape and Hardscape Improvements

 

Habitat for Humanity

Provide basic landscape plants as well as support for the new homeowners

 

National Garden Week

In June, floral contest arrangements will be created by members and placed at the McMinnville Public Library.

 

 

Yard of the Month

From April through September, a garden is selected for the

McMinnville City Library Plant Caretaker

Members provide and maintain all indoor plants at the library.

 

 

McMinnville Post Office Landscape

Members maintain the garden outside the front entry of Post Office.

 

 

City Beautification (Bag Ladies on Third)

Members provide yearly Spring clean up of the trees and plants on Third Street.

Crafts, Christmas Parade Rakettes, Field Trips

 

 

Three Hanging Flower Baskets

Club provides hanging 2 baskets every summer on our lamp/flower pole at the entrance of Joe Dancer Park and one on the flower pole at Cozine House, home of the McMinnville Downtown Association.

(The city is now providing the baskets at our historic lamp pole on Third Street.)
